Community Initiative EQUAL: A Partnership for Professional Activation "ANIMATOR"

Project Description

The project "ANIMATOR" was started to equalize opportunities on the regional labor market by development of effective mechanisms for activation. Partnership for Development created innovative solutions that allows to more efficient looking for unemployed and those threatened by social exclusion. Support model under the "ANIMATOR" project was based on creation of animator groups which acquired the appropriate knowledge during the project. After they took personalized care of discriminated groups.

Support was directed to individual persons, whole families and the environment. The proposed activities were aimed to develop effective methods of local communities activation and to fulfill needs of vulnerable groups. Such a system was tested in action with small group of the unemployed (15 - 20 persons) led by animators (5 persons),in 3 representative districts of podkarpackie region:

1. Area post industrial (restructured) - Tarnobrzeg district;
2. Area of State Agricultural Farm - Bieszczady district;
3. Rural area - Rzeszow earth district;

During partnership 3 Technology Cooperation Agreements (TCA) were realized:
