Beyond Diversity - Leonardo da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation

The project Beyond Diversity is carried out with financial support of European Committee within the Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci, Transfer of Innovation.

Beyond Diversity project is based on the results obtained from the previous Minerva Project - POCODIMA, developed from 2003 to 2005, financed by the European Commission and supported by the Italian National Agency. The general purpose of the previous project was to provide beneficiaries with efficient instruments dedicated to the constructive management of conflicts and differences by technologies and teaching planning. Within the framework of the project, CD's which contains training modules was elaborated. Training modules were created by use of the “MUST” method.

The Beyond Diversity project aims to transfer tools, which support resolving diversity conflicts. In addition, these tools will be adjusted and adapted to new conditions of cultural and linguistic context in partner countries (Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom).

Main project objectives are:
  • to provide providing beneficiaries (mostly company managers of the SME sector) with effective tools dedicated to positive management of conflicts based on cultural differences within SMEs;
  • to enable and facilitate further development of both knowledge and skills relating to positive management of conflicts, including the sharing of best practice between interested parties. Therefore an e-learning platform will be created, with the aim of sharing training materials and tools to stimulate discussion and experience sharing.
