CLC - Creative Learning Communities

The project CLC - Creative Learning Communities is carried out with financial support of European Committee within the Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci 2011 – 2013, Development of Innovation.

Project aims to offer brand new and creative learning systems for VET (Vocational Education and Training) which will provide new teaching materials, give learning opportunities to trainees at risk of social exclusion or with disadvantaged backgrounds. Project will give concrete responses to policies of “Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion” and “European Year of Creativity and Innovation”.

   

Main project objectives are:

  • Identify the needs of VET trainers working with learners from groups at risk and the learners themselves in facilitating the acquisition of creativity as part of key competence 7
  • Provide creativity teaching tools in the form of “creative learning communities” to VET trainers
  • Increase the acquisition of creativity and thus the ability to think divergently and convergently in diverse situations (personal and professionally)
  • Streamline creativity teaching throughout Europe through the creation of an EU wide applicable product.
