ELE55+ - Leonardo da Vinci - Development of Innovation

"55+ Employability Learning Environment" 

Project was carried out under the Leonardo da Vinci Program with international partnership (partners from Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Germany and Poland). Danmar Computers was the partner from Poland. The project aimed at improving the skills of workers over 55 years of age.

During project two types of educational materials were developed:

• handbook,
• e-learning courses.

Handbook was focuses on the theme of social competence, such as body language, nonverbal communication, time management and healthy diet. Acquired skills were used to increase efficiency of workers over 55 years of age.

E-learning course available on the ELE 55+ portal are related to basic business English learning and computer use. The courses ware prepared in an attractive, intuitive and user friendly form.

Employers by allowing employees attendance in courses developed under the project ELE55 +, gave opportunity to improve their competences and qualifications. This allowed them reducing knowledge gap in relation to younger workers in terms of mastering the English language and ICT skills.
