Leonardo da Vinci: Quality in Vocational Education - QUTE

Project Description

QUTE aim was to create tools for self-evaluation that worked according to Common Quality Assurance Framework (CQAF). The tool was dedicated to those who were associated with education, i.e. teachers, coaches, trainers.

It consisted of sets of questionnaires not only for self-esteem, but also functions to compare self evaluation with evaluation of other teachers. The tool was created for the project beginning. The partnership dealt with surveys content creation as well as with technical implementation of the software which were automatically evaluated and displayed the results. The tool was tested in the partner countries by groups of teachers, trainers and learners at different levels of the education system. It was tested in vocational secondary schools, universities with vocational profiles and informal vocational education in. Especially for users manual was created. It contained, details and step-by-step instruction about tool. A unique feature which gave the opportunity to compare results with other teachers was an effective and motivating factor to improve work quality of people responsible for class conducting. The universal questions formula allowed to use tool in different fields of vocational education.
