Project Description

Free training for unemployed

The project was aimed at raising the level of vocational activity and competency of women and young people aged 18-34 in selected districts of Podkarpackie region: rzeszowski grodzki, rzeszowski ziemski, kolbuszowski, łańcucki, ropczycko-sędziszowski lub strzyżowski.

Under the project two animators took care of 90 persons belonging to groups:

• Women (45);

• Young people aged 18-34 (45).

Participants took part in a complex activation path, covering:

• Trainings:
  • English language
  • Computer
  • vocational (eg accounting, secretarial, maintenance of forklift trucks, driving courses in categories C and E)
  • of entrepreneurship and social economy
  • on vocational activation
• 3-month paid internships
• Individual Action Plans
• Vocational guidance
• Additional support/refund: travel expenses, care of dependent people, food for training, training materials, costs of medical examinations (for internships and vocational training), care maker (individual consultants).

Conditions for participation in the Project:

• Affiliation to the project target groups:
  • women aged 18-60 years
  • young people aged 18-34
• remain without employment (including those registered in the PUP as unemployed or seeking work)
• checked in one of the districts: rzeszowski grodzki, rzeszowski ziemski, kolbuszowski, łańcucki, ropczycko-sędziszowski lub strzyżowski.

Project qualification took place on the basis of established selection criteria, designed to support people who are most disadvantaged in the labor market.

Recruitment started from 1 October 2008 to 28 November 2008.
