System architecture and used technologies

IS SOVA system was created based on a three-tier thin-client architecture.

The presentation tier is a Internet browser which is a communication interface between the user and the business logic layer and data layer. Communication is additionally supported by client applications - CADMANNT which allows to directly exchange of documents to the data tier. Business logic tier represents IIS server(Internet Information Services) which provide processing of requests and the exchange of data between the client layer and the data tier. SQL Server and storage matrix are responsible for the data tier.

The application was written using the following programming languages:

The solution is based on recognized Microsoft standards:

• Internet Explorer Web Browser 7.0 or higher
• SQL Serwer 2008 or higher
• IIS 7.0 or higher

SOVA IS integrates with the following software allowing easy file managing:

• Microsoft Office 2007 and higher (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWER POINT, MS OUTLOOK)
• Autodesk Inventor - required analysis and programming modifications to adjust connection to client software version
• Solid Works - required analysis and programming modifications to adjust connection to client software version
• Solid Edge - required analysis and programming modifications to adjust connection to client software version
• Autodesk AutoCAD - required analysis and programming modifications to adjust connection to client software version
